Vincent Award Won By Albanian Anri Sala For Contemporary Art

This is one of the most prestigious awards for contemporary style of art in Europe and is bagged by Albanian Anri Sala for this year. This award was started in 2000 and appreciates the artists who influence the development of contemporary art style in Europe. The prize money ranges about €50,000 (£40,000). He was also nominated for a Dutch prize and it was very difficult to decide the winner and they decided the winner on the basis of the poetic and conceptual nature of the art. The name of winning piece is Le Clash and Tlatelolco Clash. Such piece with proper mix is not created very often hence it is a master piece to be relished for a long time. The winner was announced at a ceremony at the Gemeente museum in The Hague on Friday night. It also exhibited the creation by all the five nominees. Though the winner was not able to attend the function he expressed his gratitude through a video message.
